The Marketing Industry Goes All Out To Prove People Really Will Buy Anything

Take a look around the shelves in your local supermarket and you’re bound to find a few items – such as smart water – which will make you step back and wonder just why anyone would bother buying it.

But now the world of marketing are on a mission to find out just how far they can push the general public with their ridiculous purchases.
The latest product designed to prove that people really will buy anything is a bad of oak-smoked water which is being sold at £2.75 per 150ml sachet.
Let that sink in for a bit.
For £2.75 for 150ml we’d expect the water to have some kind of magical powers but it doesn’t, in fact, it’s simply tap water that is then smoked for four days in an oak smokery.

So essentially…it’s just posh stock?
