If there’s one thing I love about being British, it’s our eternal optimism that this could be the year we win at a sporting event.
Wimbledon in particular. We are obsessed with winning and considering the last time a Brit won Wimbledon was Fred Perry back in 1936, it’s something that the majority of us have never witnessed.
However, in keeping with the good old British Spirit, Morrisons have changed the name of it’s Wimbledon store to…MURRISONS. The stunt is to give the UK’s (or Scottish, depending on if he’s lost or not) Andy Murray and the other British hopefuls taking part in the tennis tournament a bit of a boost.
