Iceland’s Mayor gives up being taken seriously and dresses as a Jedi to vote

Politician’s in Iceland have finally realised that no one takes them seriously. So to celebrate that revelation, the mayor of Iceland’s capital Reykjavik donned his best Jedi robes for when he cast his vote in the country’s election this weekend.

Jon Gnarr was a professional comedian before he gave politics a shot and regularly goes out in public dressed as a Jedi.

His political party “the Best party” was originally founded as a joke.

Suddenly Boris doesn’t seem so bad right?
