Ewwww! Burberry Want Us To Make Out With Our Tech

With the news last month that 94% of Brits would rather give up sex than their smartphones (depressing much?!) Burberry has decided we need a way to bring romance and tech together and teamed up with Google to bring us Burberry Kisses.

The idea is simple – go to on whatever device you fancy (naughty!), pucker up and then choose who to send your kiss to with a cutesy little message.

We have to admit we tried a couple and, once we’d repressed our feelings to vomit, the lucky recipients of our lipstick- rainbow smooches were pretty happy. Getting Google involved means the live kisses map on the site is, dare we say it, a little beautiful to watch.

Of course Burberry isn’t suggesting we share the love just for the sake of it, that would be far too nice. This little PR campaign is to promote their line of lip colours and whilst it’s cute and semi-romantic we can only imagine the looks you’d get pouting at your smartphone on the Tube or trying to tongue your laptop in work.

What do you lot think? Will you be getting up close and personal with your tech rather than an actual human being to convey your feelings? Or do you prefer the taste of lips to screen?
