David Cameron Proves Too Many Tweets Make A Twat

Remember how stupid we all thought David Cameron was when he claimed that he thought LOL was “Lots of Love”? Well, it turns out that Dave just isn’t very good at this technology lark, full stop.

Cameron who once spun the famous line “too many Tweets might make a twat” has proved his point by tweeting the latest Iain Duncan Smith parody account.

Trying to out-do Prince Philip on the gaff front, he tweeted “We’re rolling out a cap on Benefits today – @IDS_MP and I are determined to make work pay, and help the UK compete on the #GlobalRace.” it didn’t take eagle eyed twitter users long to point out that he was actually tweeting a spoof account.

You’d have thought Cameron (whose tweet was retweeted 180 times in 25 minutes) would have “got the joke” when he saw that the @ids_mp account was tweeting out messages such as “I’ve always supported a Mansion Tax. Your Tax buys my Mansion. Chin chin!”. Then again, maybe not.

Someone needs to swoop in quick and give the Prime Minister some social media lessons, but no Ed Milliband, we don’t want another “blackbusters” scandal – do we?
