Christian Guiltenane Stepping Down as OK! Editor

Celebrity gossip rags are dead!

If the figures of declining sales (OK! reported a 11.8% drop in sales from last year) weren’t enough to convince you that people no longer care about what the Kardashian’s ate for lunch or what Victoria Beckham is wearing then the editor of number one celeb magazine stepping down should seal the deal.

Christian Guiltenane has only been editor of Richard Desmond’s OK! magazine for six months and he is clearly sick of it already as he’s announced he will be stepping down. Although he has worked at the magazine for eight years he has said that he is leaving to pursue other projects.

“I have had the most amazing experience at OK! and am proud that in the six months I have been editor I have continued to rejuvenate and refresh the magazine, which continues to be a strong and powerful brand and is market leader by a clear margin,” he said.
