Chris Huhne and Vicky Pryce released from Book Writing Bootcamp

It seems like just yesterday when former Cabinet Minister Chris Huhne and his ex wife were imprisoned for their heinous crime of swapping speeding points.

But today, they were released and we are guessing that they have the bare bones of their books already printed out.

Huhne, who was former energy secretary, was placed in Leyhill Prison in Gloucestershire whilst economist Vicky Pryce left her open jail at East Sutton Park near Maidstone.

Huhne left Pryce in 2010 as his affair with PR adviser Carina Trimingham was about to be exposed, ending his 26-year marriage to Pryce and leading her to reveal the speeding points swap to newspapers in a bid to get revenge which badly backfired on her.

The couple were originally each give 8 month prison sentences on March 11th for perverting the course of justice.

But two months later they are free and both will now have to wear electronic tags, used to enforce either a timed curfew or a place of residence, as a condition of their early release.

We expect the next battle to be who gets the first book release date.
