According to the Daily Mail, David Beckham has played his last game. We aren’t going to pretend that we’re interested that much in the actual game of football – after all, why lie? But we will miss the England legend – specifically Beckham running about in those little shorts.
We said we weren’t going to lie to you.
Beckham made his debut for Manchester United almost 20 years and has captained his country, collecting 115 caps, and has been a champion in four different countries – he is the only British footballer in history to do so.
He also took time out of his busy schedule of kicking a ball to marry everyone’s fave Spice Girl (ok, so she’s ours!) Victoria Beckham.
According to reports, Beckham was offered an extended one-year deal at Paris Saint-German, but sources in Paris have said that 38-year-old has played his last game, bowing out on a high after helping Carlo Ancelotti’s side win the French.
But let’s not forget his other achievements…
We could go on, basically, Beckham is of course a god and we are sure that the footballing world will miss him.
